I’m a statistician born in Taiwan and now pursuing a PhD at the U.S. I learned Phyiscs and Mathematics when I was undergraduate. Now I’m studying statistics and machine learning. I’m very fortunate to have a multidisciplinary background (statistics, mathematics, physics and computer science) which allows me to work on wide variety of research. My primary research is on non-parametric statistics, empirical processes, astrostatistics (statistics+astronomy/cosmology) and statistical learning theory. I’m currently also working with biologists and psychologists on some interesting scientific projects.
Though I’m not good at English, I try my best to write down some ideas, thoughts and comments on statistics and related topics. Hope you enjoy reading this blog.
